From the Principal

Welcome to Colonial School!

This year will prove to be more exciting than ever as our students engage in learning experiences shaped for their needs.  Learners will participate in activities that call for solving problems, thinking critically, creatively, and making decisions.  Those and countless other skills are required inside and outside of the formal classroom.  Below I have outlined the areas that your child will engage in as they prepare for learning in the world in which they live.

Capacities for 21st Century Learning

ü      Creativity and Imagination
ü      Critical Thinking and Problem Solving
ü      The ability to work in groups
ü      Confidence Adaptability
ü      Strong Written and Communication Skills

To that end, our excellent instructional program is always being refined and refocused to meet the needs of our students.  The Colonial faculty and staff understand the rigor associated with 21st century learning and will prepare your child for this necessary specific set of skills.  The teachers, faculty and support staff at Colonial are dedicated, talented and approachable.

We welcome your visit!
